Access to Ford Theatres Grounds

During the season, grounds open for pre-show picnicking two hours prior to performances.  For Saturday morning Big World Fun family events and Monday evening JAM Sessions, gates open one hour prior.

Bringing Alcoholic Beverages and Food

Patrons are welcome to bring their own food for picnicking on the Ford's entryway gardens and The Zev. Food and beverages may also be brought into the theatre prior to and during shows. 

For Ford Theatres presented events, patrons may bring their own wine and beer to picnic before or during the show. No hard alcohol is permitted, except what is for sale by the onsite concessionaire. Bags will be checked at the entrance to the facility. 

Please note, for third-party Lease Events (such as Goldenvoice and Live Nation), the following are prohibited:

- Alcohol (beer, wine and hard liquor) and/or controlled substances. Alcohol may be purchased on site.

- Glass (including drinking glasses), regardless of content.

Patrons who consume alcoholic beverages must do so in a responsible manner; the Ford Theatres reserves the right to eject anyone who appears to be intoxicated.

Late Seating

In deference to the artists and the audience, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house staff at an appropriate pause in the program. Also, those who leave the performance may not be re-admitted until an appropriate break or at intermission.

Cell Phones

As a courtesy to the artists and your neighbors, please silence all cell phones and noise emitting devices.

Lost and Found

Articles will be held by the house manager until the end of the performance. Thereafter please contact the Box Office at 323-461-3673.

Photography and Recording

Tag us! @FordTheatres  #ThePlaceToBe  Snapping photos of yourself and your friends before the show, during intermission and after the show is encouraged. However, for the safety of the artists, NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY during the show. Using the camera on your cell phone is encouraged, please leave your professional cameras (specifically ones with detachable lenses) at home.

Professional photography and sound or video recording is prohibited without advance written permission. Offenders may be ejected and liable for damages. To request permission, email communications@ford.lacounty.gov.

Your use of a ticket constitutes acknowledgement of willingness to appear in photographs, video and film taken in public areas of the Ford Theatres and releases the Ford Theatres, its lessees and all others from liability resulting from use of such images.

Smoking Policy

Owned by the County of Los Angeles, the Ford Theatres is a smoke-free facility. Due to the hazard of brush fires, smoking is no longer permitted anywhere on the grounds of the Ford Theatres, including the parking lots. Smoking is permitted on the sidewalk along Cahuenga Blvd., once completely off of County property. We appreciate your cooperation.

Please note the following items are NOT permissible at Third-Party Lease Events:

-Smoking of any kind (includes E-Cigarettes, Vaping)--please also see smoking policy above
-Alcohol (wine, beer and hard liquor) and/or controlled substances (Alcohol may be purchased inside.)
-Glass (including drinking glasses) and aluminum cans, regardless of content
-Reusable liquid containers of any kind
-Weapons of any kind
-Cameras with detachable lenses
-Any form of camera stand (monopods included)
-Selfie sticks
-Audio/video recording devices
-Computer tablets
-Laser pointers
-Drones
-Umbrellas
