Disabled Access & Parking
Please call the Box Office (323.461.3673) for special seating and arrival accommodations.

The Ford has nine (9) accessible parking places on site; a parking attendant will direct you. Patrons must show a designated placard to park in this area. The Ford is situated in a County regional park, and as such parking lots are located in hilly terrain. A free shuttle will transport patrons from the accessible parking area to the Ford’s main entrance, which is ADA accessible. Please note, the ADA transit wheelchair lifts on the Ford shuttles have a capacity of up to 500 lbs and are unable to accommodate motorized scooters.

The main entrance has a graded inclined path suitable for wheelchairs, scooters, walkers or canes, that leads to Edison Plaza (level 1). An elevator can be accessed on this level, taking patrons to level 2 (restrooms) and level 3 (amphitheatre seating).

The Ford provides free wheelchairs, along with staff escort, on a first come-first serve basis, to assist disabled patrons up the path.

NEW IN 2017: Electric cart service (free) will transport patrons with disabilities from the accessible parking area to an ADA accessible entrance in the Ford's new loading dock area.

Shuttles (Summer Season; evening shows only)
The shuttles from the off-site parking lots and Universal City Metro stop are wheelchair accessible.

Concessions
The Grab & Go Market on Edison Plaza is accessible.

Restrooms
Disabled accessible restrooms are located on level 2.

Hearing Assistance Devices
Hearing assist headphones are available from the house manager.

Service Animals
Service animals and animals-in-training - animals that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual or other mental disability - are welcome at the Ford but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. So that we may provide excellent customer service, please let our house staff know that your companion is a service animal or animal-in-training when entering the main gates. Pets of any kind are prohibited. Service animals and animals-in-training will need to remain in the seating area of the individual with a disability and not in the aisle or walkway. Thank you for your cooperation.
