Seat Campaign

Ford Theatres Seat Campaign
Zev and Barbara Yaroslavsky named seats

Take a seat in Ford history

In preparation for the 100th anniversary in 2020, we invite you to become a part of the Ford's future by naming a seat in honor of:

  • Yourself and/or your loved ones
  • Your club or business
  • A favorite Ford performer or production
  • A special day (wedding, anniversary, graduation)

When you name a seat, you make it possible for more people to experience the Ford's culturally diverse music, dance, theatre, film and family events. These programs serve artists and audiences of the region and make a meaningful contribution to the cultural landscape of Los Angeles.

How to order

Please contact Monika Ramnath at mramnath@ford.lacounty.gov or 323-769-2199.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What can I put on my plaque?

A: Up to two lines of 15 characters each.

We reserve the right to reject any seat inscriptions containing offensive or inappropriate language.

Q: Is my contribution tax-deductible?

A: Yes! It is 100% tax-deductible.

Q: Am I guaranteed to be able to sit in the seat I dedicate?

A: Tickets to all performances are sold first-come, first-served, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit in “your” seat.  However, if your seat is available, we will do our best to accommodate your request to sit there.

Q: I’ve sent in my order form or filled it out online. Now what?

A: A member of the Ford staff will contact you to confirm the details of your selection and help you choose your seat(s). We will send a proof of the nameplate for your final approval before having it engraved, and will send you a photograph of your seat once the nameplate is installed.

All proceeds benefit the Ford Theatre Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that presents programs that engage and enrich surrounding communities. To learn more, go here.
