With Special Guest Mereba | DJ Set by nOVENA cARMEL

GRAMMY® Award-nominated We Are KING will bring their mesmerizing blend of dream-pop and electronic orchestral music to the Ford, where they will be accompanied for the first time by an orchestral ensemble. The duo will premiere new music as well as performing new arrangements from their self-titled debut album. Just announced: special guest Mereba and DJ set by Novena Carmel of KCRW.

We Are KING first gained commercial and critical acclaim in 2016 with their debut album We Are KING. Highly rated on best-of-the-year lists by media outlets including Rolling Stone, TIME, NPR, Glamour, GQ, SPIN, Pitchfork and The New York Times, their first album garnered a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album of the Year, the first from independent artists in the category. Completely self-produced, written, and performed, We Are KING's eclectic sound has earned them the #1 chart position on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart, and within the Top 10 on both Billboard's Independent and R&B Album Charts. They are currently recording their second full-length release.

Mereba has garnered attention as a dynamic artist, excelling in songwriting, production, instrumentation, rapping and singing. She had an exciting 2018 with the release of eye-catching visuals and a slew of new music. Over the summer, she earned a standing ovation for her performance at the Malibu Soho House with Stevie Wonder. The eccentric artist then joined the North American leg of Snoh Alegra's FEELS tour which ran through mid-October. Mereba released her first singles for major-label Interscope, a 9th wonder collaboration titled “Black Truck” and, a few months later, “Planet U,” which she worked on with Ayo Olatunji and Sam Hoffman. Both tracks were included on her debut project The Jungle is the only Way Out, which also had appearances from 6BLACK and JID.

Los Angeles natives Mixed Feelings are an independent concert, festival, and special event production company.
