IGNITE @ The Ford!
This FREE two-day extravaganza honors the traditions of Mexican and native Mesoamerican cultures with daytime activities for the whole family! Dia de los Muertos festivities will take place from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm all over the Ford’s entryway gardens and plaza spaces. Produced by LORE Media & Arts, these family-friendly celebrations will include face painting, live music and storytelling, food, craft activities, live mural painting by father and son graffiti artists Such and Champ, and more. Art panels, grand skull installations and Lucretia Torva's OAX Mural will be on display. Danza Balan Mictlan, Olivia Treviño Aztec Myths will perform.
Visual artists on display include: Chavez Art, Osvaldo Cervantes, Lalo Cota, Ricardo Garcia, Rachel Hoye, Luis Huffington, Maggie Keane, Heriberto Luna, David Morgan, Noni Olabisi, Christopher Sanchez, Lucretia Torva, Marisa H. Valdez and Darrin A Wardle.
