MICRONESIAN PACIFIC ISLAND CHAMORU DANCE OF THE NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS
Discover the grace and beauty of traditional Chamoru music and dance from the Micronesian Pacific island of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. The intricate hand movements and swaying hips of the vibrant tuleti dance (dance of the bird), the precision and power of the uritao (warrior dance) and rhythmic Chamoru drumming revive the ancient ways of the Chamoru culture.

The Big World Fun family series takes place on Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM in July and August. These hour-long music and dance performances are for children ages 4 to 12 and their families.
Pre-show activities start @ 9:00 AM – Use vintage postage stamps from the Northern Mariana Islands in Micronesia, including Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae and Guam, to create a cool magnet. Activity presented by Go As If.
