Over a weekend in early May, we filmed a dozen or so of the Ford summer artists for our Demonstrate the Art video series. It was truly a fantastic experience to connect with the performers and learn more about the art that each will be presenting on the Ford stage this summer.  We hope our experiences from that weekend inspire you as they did us.

Meet director and bassist Edgar Hernandez and drummer and singer Tony Alba of La Charanga Cubana. A charanga is an orchestra that plays Cuban dance music and both grew up with this tradition, learning to play at a very young age. Charanga Cubana's mastery of danzon, mambo, rumba and more brings to life the heart and soul of Cuba.
